I am not a Catholic, although I respect their beliefs.

I am very happy with what was accomplished when ICE tried to arrest peaceful protesters who didn’t deserve it!!!

The priest & followers just stood their ground.

Great show of strength & support.

And ICE left !

Happy ending for all!!!!!

Let’s keep it up!!!!!

Absolutely, these clergy might not get a big attendance at mass, but I hope they will be big attendees in the immigration courts, and keep on coming.

Thank you for standing in defense of helpless people. What Trump has called in The U.S is cruel and punishing innocent people and children.

Ok so we the people need to start organizing of these Nazi ice Gestapo events with: start buying locks (and knives to slash tires) to put on rental trucks carrying the Nazi pos. We need to force them back to there Uhaul etc and once the door closes at the back put a lock on it! We also need to slash all tires! If you are following them cut them off, run them off the road! We need to disrupt them at every stop & every place they’re! If this bill passes they’re are going to be so many more of them and they are coming after any and all non supporters democrats including politicians. I also think we need to get uniforms like there’s & start dressing as ice etc they won’t no what to fing do because they have no fing brains or common sense! We need to **** em over if they’re beating on fellow citizens period! We need to block roads parking lots with dozens & dozens of vehicles and box them in and park so close to each other’s vehicles and there’s so the tow drivers can’t tow you whatever it takes. Make sure you take your keys and valuables if any put wheel lock on if you have (or buy them so you have them)and lock all doors and walk away l! Who cares if we get towed we may be saving lives! If there are a lot of you no way they can tow everyone.

How in the hell can ICE “clear” Courtroom hallways??.

Sure the security there can maintain a safe corridor. Not ICE!

Even silent presence has power.

I taught little kids for twenty years.

The death stare with blank, poker-face, is incredibly successful at getting kids to behave themselves.

Presence, quiet presence, using eye to eye contact, or even a scribbling pencil in a notebook might work.

When we are being observed, or focused on exclusively, we feel the need to act better than when no one is watching.

I'd go more often, just to sit and stare, observing closely.

With these surreal court cases, the judges need to be kept honest.

Go the death stare!

99.5 % of migrants are Carholic.

Perhaps Nuns from Various Carholic orders could attend at court hearings also.

That is a terrific idea. Absolutely, that is brilliant.

Women wearing crosses on their collars could stand quietly in the halls and offer to say prayers for and with those in court. It would be such a healing presence.

Even Catholic laity could attend, hold hands, listen to the fears of those going into court, and offer reassurance.

There is power in prayer and in quiet reflection. Kindness never goes astray.

If it was us being forcibly rounded like stray dogs, wouldn't we want compassion?

A listening ear?

A hand held in reassurance?

This is what Christianity does best.

Being Chistlike is to love our neighbours.

Have we forgotten that?

For the legions who seem no longer to know the difference: THIS is what a Christian looks like. This is how a Christian thinks, acts and speaks.

Showing up matters, there’s a new Pope in town, a Chicago Pope, living his beliefs and guiding the Catholic Church in fundamental kindness according to the teachings of Christ. This administration is messing with the wrong people, true Christians.
